Weighted .50 BMG Paperweight and Desk Display

Made from a real recovered, once-fired .50 BMG casing and a real new projectile, this substantial paperweight is hand washed, polished, internally weighted and permanently assembled for display use.

Each finished piece weighs approximately 172 grams—about the weight of a standard smartphone—giving it a solid, noticeably heavier feel than an ordinary inert display round. Use it as a desk paperweight, collection piece, shooting-club award, office display or engraved commemorative item.

Looking for a different .50 BMG style? See our polished casing without a projectile, our Match Grade Hornady A-MAX version, or the nickel-finish Match Grade round.

Substantial Weight and Solid Construction

This is not an ordinary lightweight dummy round. Its proprietary internal weighting produces a firm, solid feel and gives the finished piece enough weight to function as a practical desk paperweight.

Each paperweight is assembled from:

  • A real recovered, once-fired .50 BMG casing
  • The casing’s original fired primer
  • A real new projectile

There is no powder or propellant inside the finished item.

Individually Inspected and Hand Finished

Every casing is physically handled and individually inspected. We do not use machine sorting.

Cases with rust, significant scratches, major dents or other unacceptable damage are removed. Selected casings are then tumbled cleaned and hand polished using our own 3-step finishing process before assembly.

Because these are authentic recovered cases, manufacturer headstamps and natural brass tones may vary.

Display, Desk and Recognition Uses

This weighted .50 BMG piece works well as a:

  • Desk paperweight
  • Office or shelf display
  • Shooting-club recognition piece
  • Range or competition award
  • Collector display
  • Conversation piece
  • Commemorative item
  • Custom-engraved keepsake
  • Prop or decorative display

Available Options

  • Blank — Hand Polished
  • Pre-Engraved Design
  • Custom Engraving

Custom engraving is completed individually. Exact placement and appearance may vary slightly because the engraving is applied to a curved, authentic recovered casing rather than a flat, uniformly manufactured plaque. Contact us before ordering to discuss custom engraving details.

Permanently Assembled Inert Display Item

This product contains no powder or propellant. The recovered casing retains its original fired primer, and the real new projectile is permanently seated. Its proprietary internal weighting and assembly create a permanent desk and display item.

It is not ammunition and is not intended for firing, chambering or reloading.
