Realistic 9mm Nickel Inert Training Rounds — Function Testing | Training
These 9mm dummy rounds are as convincing as fake bullets get, because they start as the real thing: genuine once-fired brass, range-recovered in the USA and hand-polished to a bright shine, not cheap machined replicas. Each case is seated and crimped with a new copper round-nose bullet, so the profile and weight read as authentic in the hand — roughly 11.3 grams apiece — while staying completely inert. Five rounds per pack. If you'd prefer a brighter silver look, the same round is offered in polished nickel; for a hollow-point profile, see the nickel jacketed hollow point version. Inspected, cleaned, decapped, resized, seated with a new round nose projectile, hi-viz rubber primer seated, ready for training.
The primer pocket is fitted with a durable, rubber-like plastic plug. Bright red for easy visual identification while safely acting as a cushion for your firearm's firing pin during dry-fire practice.
Primer is a high-visibility red for clear identification and safe dry-firing. The rubber-like primer cushions the firing pin repeatedly without cracking or wearing down over extended use.

Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Are these safe — can they be fired?
A: No. These are inert dummy rounds — no gunpowder and no live primer. The primer pocket holds a red rubber-like plug instead, which cushions your firing pin during dry-fire practice. They can't be fired or turned into live rounds.
Q: How realistic are they as fake bullets?
A: Very. Because the casing is genuine once-fired brass with a real seated-and-crimped bullet, the size, shine, and roughly 11.3-gram weight all read as authentic in hand — which is exactly what props and cosplay need.
Q: Will all five match?
A: The finish will, but headstamps may not — these come from mixed manufacturers, and the minor ejection marks are part of the genuine once-fired character. If you need matched headstamps for a specific build, contact us before ordering and we'll tell you what's on hand.
Q: What's the difference between this and the brass version?
A: Finish only. This is cool polished nickel; the brass version is bright gold. Same caliber, same round-nose profile, same inert construction.
Safety Compliance Notice: This dummy round is 100% inert — no gunpowder, no live primer, no combustible materials. The primer pocket holds a rubber-like insert instead of a primer, so it can be chambered and dry-fired as a snap cap, but it cannot be fired or converted into live ammunition. Always keep dummy rounds separate from live ammunition and check every round before dry-fire practice. Also suited to craft, prop, and display use; it's not a sterile container or intended for food service. Contains small parts that are a choking hazard; keep away from small children. Colors may vary by monitor or lighting — additional photos on request.
Product Classification: This item is an inert dummy round made from a genuine once-fired 9mm brass casing, seated and crimped with a new inert bullet, with a rubber-like insert in place of a primer. It contains no gunpowder, no propellant, and no live primer, and cannot be fired or converted into live ammunition. It is not classified or sold as ammunition, a firearm, or a firearm component — intended for dry-fire training, craft, prop, and display use.
